John Shinnick - Meyond

John Shinnick – Non Executive Director

John joined the team in 2017 as a non-executive Director, bringing with him a wealth of experience in professional services, and as an advisor to small businesses. One of the deciding factors in joining the Board was his experience with Carter Corson several years ago, when he saw the work we were doing to create behavioural change in the organisation he was working in at the time.

John’s role focuses on governance and finance. He qualified as a chartered accountant in the early 80’s and was a partner in an international accounting firm for over 20 years – eventually coming out of full-time practice in 2013. His focus has always been on the entrepreneurial mindset, in all its guises and to support this, he is an NLP practitioner and an EMCC-qualified coach and mentor.

He also holds non-executive roles in fintech, finance, property funding and humanitarian relief and coach-mentors in the FTSE 100 and professional services sectors.
